Producer Tools
Alongside mastering, I create practical tools and resources for music producers under the name LASTBAR. They simplify recurring tasks and leave more time for the music itself.

I’m Mike, a mastering engineer and electronic music producer. I know the moment when a track feels finished, yet still does not translate the way it should on every system. Through my own music projects, I have released multiple tracks on different labels.
At HEADRM96, every mix is treated on its own terms. I listen for what your music truly needs: controlled low end, clear transients, depth, impact and the right level of loudness without losing its character or dynamics.
My goal is a cohesive, release-ready master that works just as well in the club as it does on headphones, in the car or through small speakers. Direct communication and your vision for the finished track remain part of the process throughout.
Process
Tell me briefly about your track and what you want to achieve.
Once we have aligned, you will receive all upload information.
You receive your master for review and can share your feedback.
File preparation
Cleanly prepared files provide the best foundation for a precise master.
WAV with at least 24 bit at the original sample rate.
Export with sufficient headroom and no clipping, ideally with peak levels around −6 dBFS.
Disable the limiter. Sound-defining master bus processing may remain active.
You may also send a version with your limiter and suitable reference tracks.
